Under the management of Prof. Emmanuel Rey, the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) focuses its research and teaching in the field of sustainable architecture, with particular emphasis on the transcription of the principles of sustainability at different levels of intervention - from urban design to building components - and for the integration of innovative and evaluative criteria into architectural design.

 

Anchored within the School of Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering (ENAC) and the Institute of Architecture and the City (IA), it aims to contribute through its interdisciplinary approaches to the establishment of dynamic links between engineers and architects.Therefore, the LAST often collaborates for its research and teaching with other academic, institutional, public or private partners.
